Domestic work is one of East Africa's largest informal employment sectors. Helpers get placed through word of mouth, with no verifiable skills, no contracts and no recourse when things go wrong. Households take on risk with every hire. Agents operate with no tools and no accountability. Mdadda exists to fix all three sides of that problem — simultaneously.

The Academy First Pivot is Mdadda's strategic foundation. Before we match, we certify. Before households search, helpers learn. The Academy is the product. Matching is the distribution. We believe the only way to build lasting trust in this industry is to raise the floor on helper quality — and give that quality a number. That number is the MDC certificate.

AI-Powered Discovery Engine
Proprietary vector clustering that groups helpers and households by multi-dimensional compatibility — skills, location, care category, preferences. Not keyword search.
Contracting
Every placement generates a legally structured tri-party contract — with plain Swahili summaries for helpers — in seconds. Covers payment terms, replacement guarantees and course recommendations.
